About Me.
I recently discovered my passion for art after receiving a beginner art kit for Christmas a few years back. Combining my new-found talent and my love for community, I began volunteering with Tehama Creatives. This is where I have been able to learn from other local creatives and have installed many murals in Tehama County. Public art brings culture, economics, and value to the surrounding area which in turn enhances the lives for all who live in our area.
Murals have the opportunity to tell the community's story, create a unique experience for a customer, engage citizens, increase foot traffic and tourism, increase appreciation for the arts and artists, and increase overall attractiveness of a space.

My Philosophy of Art Education
My teaching philosophy is rooted in constructivist and sociocultural learning theories, where knowledge is built collaboratively through shared experiences, dialogue, and creative practice. I view the classroom as a community of artists and thinkers who learn from one another. Justice-centered art education is at the heart of my work. Through projects that explore identity, culture, and social issues, I empower students to see art as a form of communication and transformation.
Reflective Practice
My reflections guide continuous improvement in classroom management, lesson pacing, and inclusion strategies. I also participate in professional learning communities and art education workshops to expand my instructional toolkit.
